Small Modern Pool With Floating Fire & Water Wall

A tall waterfall gives privacy from the pocket park behind and provide understated sound and a great visual, a floating fire feature the length of the waterfall added an elegant visual at night. The black interior, tile, fire media and waterfall gave the vision from inside of floating fire. This contrasted with the limestone patio and wall veneer. The precision of the joint pattern lined up with the stairs, columns and patio. The additional accents of the grass, landscape rock, steel planters, flowerpots and furniture added to the contrast. To transition the elevation the rim overflow tanning ledge was placed at the elevation of the workout room and also maximize the function of the pool area. The pool steps were layout to also maximize the pool area by running 18″ wide along the house side of the pool. This also provided a bench to sit and view the focal point fire and water. Along the raised wall to the tanning ledge a waterline finger ledge was added for safety. Columns flanked the back new masonry and provided transition back to the original wall and grades which framed the Wow Project.
