Designer: Erin Kidd
Project Manager: Paul Watko
When sitting down with the clients to design this project, the designer relied on symmetry and the use of different levels to achieve a stunning view from inside the house as well as a functional space outside the house. The clients wanted a clean, traditional look that blended seamlessly as if it was always meant to be there. With the grade of the yard sloping up from the back patio, the outdoor living space consisting of two equal pergolas and a cabana structure to match the existing architecture of the home was elevated up to build into the slope of the yard. This diving pool has an extra-large tanning ledge, an elevated jump platform, and a focal point in the middle of the pool which consists of a fountain water feature spilling over into the pool that surrounds an automated gas fire bowl. This swimming pool and outdoor living space was strategically thought out and placed perfectly in the yard to achieve the ultimate fun and aesthetically pleasing project for this family.
