Private Paradise

When meeting with the customer for the first time, they expressed their desire for a pool with clean and simple lines. However, they didn’t want to make the project too contemporary, as they desired the outdoor space to transition well with the style of the home. To accomplish their desires, we kept with a large rectangular pool with a separate battered slate fountain wall. The view from the living area inside the home looks out to a fire pit with large decking and entertaining space placed symmetrically on either side of the pool.  Your eyes are drawn into the wooded yard as the pool extends out into the deep lot. The shape of the pool and fountain kept with the clean lines as they wanted, but the materials brought in warmth with the use of natural limestone coping, a battered slate waterfall, stone textured decking, and limestone retaining walls. We were able to blend the pool cover into the color scheme of the project to give an overall stunning effect.
