Indulgent Transitions

Inspired by the geometry from the interior down to the slate details, the interior spills out to the exterior.  The slope on the lot created the opportunity to create privacy from the neighbor and park.  The arbor, outdoor kitchen and terracing steps allowed for privacy with the neighbor the steps provide access to the pool and a great water feature the length of the pool.  Wet or dry access is possible with the separate pump.  The geometric spa gives access to the master bedroom or covered porch on the upper terrace.  Sports can be viewed from the porch flat screen.  The raised wall sheers give a focal point from all rooms and the arbor.  The eye does not notice the fast lane which is used for triathlon training of the owner.  The wall also provides additional privacy from the park.  The heavy timber Arbor provides shade over the full kitchen and bar.  The circular bar counter allows for a gathering outdoor living structure, yet tucked out of the way of the cooking area. The pool and outdoor living creates an open and inuring environment yet provides privacy the geometric design fits together like a puzzle.
