The project required the use of a free-flowing design with a very tailored finish out. The Glass tile installation at the entire spa and extra large tanning ledge required days of cutting to piece into the radius’d design. The use of a Turkish jumbo Versailles pattern travertine paver required weeks of preparation and cutting to fit it into the radius’d design. The quality of the final product is due to superior craftsmanship, the finest products, and sound installation techniques.
The project design required over a dozen design alterations to fit the shape into a pre-determined maze of geothermal piers. The pool and spa shells are as close as 12” to a minimum of 10 geothermal piers and lines. The topographical change from front to back, coupled with a desire to shade a big percentage of the living space created challenges to deal with the desired space in a manner that fits naturally with the environment.
