Formality

Designer: Reid Schindler
Project Manager: Brent Schumacher

This geometric design evolved from a backyard with a steep slope and an owner that loved to entertain. The pool is 42' long and 36' at its widest point. The owner wanted to be able to play volleyball but also have a generous deep end section of the pool. The city did not allow for a covered structure so we developed a swim up bar that doubled as a bar for the entertaining deck. The sunken dining area is shaded from the western sun by an umbrella that is built into the bar. Along with the pool there is over 1000 square feet of silver Turkish travertine on the job. The river rock spa and water feature ties together the owners request for a spa like feel to the job.
