Pool equipment should run 5 to 6 hours per day between November and March, and 10 to 12 hours a day between April and October.
The skimmer baskets and pump strainer baskets need to be emptied weekly. If trees are present more cleaning may be required.
When adding chemicals to your pool always follows the manfacturer's recommendations. Granular shock should be diluted in water and added around the perimeter of the pool, not directly into the skimmer.
Any fertilizer will stain plaster.
